To protect your privacy, do not attach an Android backup file to an ordinary email unless support has explicitly requested it through an approved secure process. AB files can contain private databases, application preferences, documents, account information, and other sensitive data.
Technical Support Requests
For conversion or extraction problems, send enough information to reproduce the failure without sending the backup contents. Useful details include the tool you were using, the operation selected, the approximate input file size, the detected AB format version, whether compression was detected, whether the archive is encrypted, the operating system and browser when relevant, and the exact error message displayed.
If a problem occurs only with one specific backup, say how that backup was created if you know. For example, mention the Android version, device family, ADB workflow, or third party tool involved. Do not include the backup password.
Please Never Email Your Backup Password
Support does not need your password to understand most interface or parser errors. A password is a secret and should remain with you.
If an encrypted backup works with one converter but not another, report the format version, encryption label, and error stage. That information can be enough to investigate compatibility without exposing the credential.
What to Include in a Good Bug Report
A useful report answers a few practical questions. What were you trying to do? What did you expect? What happened instead? Can the problem be reproduced? Did the file pass Android signature validation? Did the error occur during header parsing, password validation, decompression, TAR validation, archive browsing, extraction, or download generation?
Screenshots are welcome when they do not reveal private filenames, package data, account information, passwords, or file previews.
Security Reports
If you believe you found a vulnerability involving file uploads, archive extraction, path traversal, temporary file access, cross user data exposure, password handling, or another security issue, contact support@abconverter.live and clearly mark the message as a security report.
Provide reproduction steps using synthetic test files whenever possible. Do not test a vulnerability against other users' data or attempt to access files that do not belong to you.
Security reports should include the affected page or operation, expected behavior, observed behavior, and the smallest safe proof of concept necessary to explain the issue.
Privacy Questions
For questions about file processing, temporary retention, analytics, cookies, or user rights, contact support@abconverter.live. Include the nature of your request but do not send a backup simply to ask a privacy question.
If the site later adds account based features, provide the account identifier required by the published privacy process. Until then, avoid sending unrelated personal data.
Content Corrections
Technical documentation changes over time. If you find an outdated Android behavior, incorrect format detail, broken instruction, or ambiguous statement, send the page title and the exact section that needs review.
When possible, include a reliable technical source such as Android Developers documentation, Android Open Source Project code, a standards reference, or a reproducible test result.
Corrections are more useful when they identify a specific claim rather than simply saying a page is wrong.
General Inquiries
You can also use support@abconverter.live for legitimate business or collaboration inquiries related to the website. Do not send unsolicited bulk marketing lists, scraped personal data, or attachments unrelated to the site's purpose.
The site does not publish a physical address or phone number unless real details are intentionally added later.

A Privacy Friendly Example Report
A safe technical report might say: “AB to TAR on macOS. Input approximately 850 MB. Android signature detected. Format version 5. Compression enabled. Encryption none. Conversion stops during zlib inflation at about 60 percent with an unexpected end of stream error. The original file was copied from another Mac and I have not attached it.”
That description is useful because it identifies the failing stage without exposing archive contents.
Response Scope
Support can help explain the website, investigate reproducible tool defects, and review documented compatibility. Support cannot guarantee recovery of corrupted files, bypass unknown backup passwords, provide unauthorized access to someone else's app data, or promise that a repacked AB will restore successfully to every Android device.
For critical forensic or legal recovery work, use qualified local professionals and preserve original evidence.
